Community Vision
Empowering residents through active participation in local governance.

Smart Infrastructure
Concord is one of the top 4 fastest-growing cities in North Carolina—but growth without thoughtful planning creates cracks, not progress. I’ve seen firsthand how some neighborhoods feel forgotten when sidewalks don’t connect, roads stay congested, and investment skips entire communities. Smart infrastructure isn’t just about concrete and traffic lights—it’s about dignity, access, and designing a city that works for everyone, not just the newest zip codes. Growth should feel like opportunity, not pressure—and that starts with intentional, people-centered planning.

Economic Mobility
District 4 is home to some of Concord’s most promising corridors—the expanding 73/29 business zone, and countless small businesses. But too often, economic growth here benefits those passing through, not the residents who live nearby. I believe in building a local economy that prioritizes our workforce, especially young adults, parents reentering the job market, and those looking to grow their skills. That means job training, entrepreneurship support, and partnerships with local employers that create pathways—not just paychecks.

Housing Access
In District 4, we see new homes going up every other month—but too many longtime residents are being priced out of the very neighborhoods they helped build. Families who’ve lived here for years now face skyrocketing rents, limited pathways to ownership, and a growing gap between wages and cost of living. I’ll advocate for development that protects affordability, expands housing choices, and keeps Concord a place where all of us can stay and thrive.

Youth Development
As Concord brings in multi-million dollar developments, we must ensure our youth have the skills and training to grow with the city—not be pushed aside by it. Their voice isn’t too young—it’s powerful, and we are listening. From after-school programs to workforce pipelines, I’ll fight for opportunities that let our kids lead in their city.
